David Frame

David Frame has a diverse background in teaching and coaching, with a particular focus on sailing and watersports. Most recently, they have been working as a freelance coach, providing training and development for various organizations and individuals in the world of sailing and power boating. David also works closely with the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) on instructor training and certification. Prior to this, David served as the Chief Instructor at sportscotland's National Centre Cumbrae, where they managed a large watersports training program and worked with various governing bodies and institutes in the field. David has also held roles as a RYA Scotland Racing Coach, responsible for national sailing squad training in Scotland, and as the Deputy Principal of the Castle Toward Outdoor Education Centre. Before transitioning into the field of watersports, David began their career as a Teacher of Physical Education in Leicester.

David Frame has a diverse education history. David began their academic journey in 1987 at Jordanhill College, Scottish School of Physical Education, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Sport. During this time, their focus was on coaching and sports management. After completing their undergraduate degree in 1990, David furthered their education at Loughborough University from 1990 to 1991, where they obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) specializing in Physical Education.

In 1994, David enrolled at the University of Glasgow for a one-year program in Post Graduate CBA, with a focus on Business. This added another dimension to their educational qualifications.

In addition to their formal education, David Frame has acquired various certifications. These include Dinghy Trainer, National Mark Laying Tutor, Powerboat Trainer/Advanced Powerboat Examiner, Racing Coach Tutor, Summer Mountain Leader, VHF Radio/SRC Assessor, and Yachtmaster Examiner/Instructor.
