Ian Baures

Ian Baures has a diverse work experience. Ian began their career as an Orientation Leader at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2017. From there, they worked as an Assistant for Charlotte Ariss Locations, supporting film, TV, and print production. Ian also worked as a Server Assistant at Stella's Fish Cafe and as a Gym Maintenance worker at CrossFit Kingfield.

In 2018, Ian volunteered at Pratt Elementary School, helping students with various classroom tasks and assisting teachers with organization. Ian then worked as a Landscaper at Landcraft, gaining experience in group work and communication skills.

In 2020, Ian joined KANO & Associates, LLC as a Client Engagement Coordinator, where they collaborated with a team to create a curriculum for Telecom and UCaaS solutions. Ian also supported coworkers with research and prospecting efforts.

Ian's sales journey began in 2021 at When I Work, where they worked as a Sales Development Representative. Ian excelled at prospecting accounts and generated significant pipeline while consistently achieving top caller and deal generator status.

In 2022, Ian moved to Proximity Insight as an Account Executive. Ian successfully created and executed personalized cold outreach campaigns, resulting in a seven-figure pipeline and a $350,000 deal won over competitors.

Currently, Ian works as a Sales Development Representative at Genesys, where they are responsible for driving sales growth through prospecting and relationship-building efforts.

Ian Baures completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sociology from the University of Minnesota from 2018 to 2020. In 2018, they also briefly attended Massey University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2017, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout, earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management.

In terms of additional certifications, Ian Baures received the Great Citizen Award from the Voter Participation Center in October 2022. Ian also obtained certifications in Python For Everyone from the University of Michigan in July 2022 and Advanced Open Water Diver from PADI in January 2019.
