Melissa Gibson

Melissa Gibson has held several positions in the medical and tech industries. In 2022, they began working as a Junior DevOps Engineer for Sportsdigita and as a Student for Level Up In Tech. From 2014 to 2022, they worked as a Registered Nurse for ISD 196, Galtier, and Presbyterian Homes. While at ISD 196, their role included responsibilities such as administering medications, triage, tracheostomy cares, trach changes, seizure assessment and management, suctioning, catheterization, oxygen administration, gastrostomy care, g tube feedings, as well as ADLs. Melissa also had to communicate with parents and student’s doctors to promote continuity of care.

Melissa Gibson holds a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from St. Catherine University. Melissa has also obtained the Linux Essentials Certification from the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) in April 2022, the AWS Certified Developer – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2022, the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2022, and the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (002) from HashiCorp in September 2022.
