John Cook IV

John Cook IV has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and technology. John started their career at AT&T as a Manager Desktop Systems in 1998 and later transitioned to the role of Network Design Engineer. After that, they joined Valero Energy Corporation as a Manager Electronic Discovery. In 2010, they joined Microsoft as a Technical Account Manager and worked there until 2017. Following that, they worked at Zachry Group as a Director of Service Management & Infrastructure Technology. In 2020, they joined Visionworks of America as a Director of IT Service & Retail Technology. Most recently, they are serving as the Director of IT Services at Sportsman's Warehouse.

John Cook IV has a Master's degree in Information Systems from St. Edward's University. John also holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix. In terms of certifications, they have obtained the Certified System Administrator certification from ServiceNow in 2021, the ITIL 4 Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2020, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2020. In addition, they hold various technical certifications including CCDP from Cisco in 2005, CCNP from Cisco in 2004, CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ from CompTIA in 2002, and MCSE from Microsoft in 2002.
