Walter Wijnands has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Walter currently serves as the CEO of SPOSEA B.V., where they drive profitability by simplifying SAP Pricing Data Optimization, Management & Execution (PO&M) and Configure Price Quote (CPQ) through analytical and reporting solutions. Walter also supports the SAP ecosystem by providing add-on SaaS driven pricing solutions and consulting services.
Prior to this, Walter took a sabbatical in 2016 after spending 10 successful years as an entrepreneur, founding and growing EAM Consultants and Vesta Partners. During this time, they sought a change of lifestyle and dedicated their time to private and study matters.
Walter's experience in executive leadership roles includes serving as the Executive Director - Europe Middle East at Vesta Partners from 2014 to 2015 and as the Managing Director, Europe from 2008 to 2014. Vesta Partners is a professional services firm specializing in maintenance management and SAP solutions.
Before their tenure at Vesta Partners, Walter was the Managing Director / Partner at EAM Consultants from 2006 to 2008. Here, they focused on consulting in the SAP EAM field, specifically in process industries like Chemicals, Oil&Gas, Metals, and Energy-Utilities.
Additionally, Walter has held various other roles throughout their career. Walter served as the Interim Financial Manager at Gemeente Purmerend in 2006-2007. Walter was also the Sr. Account Executive Europe at Impress Software from 2004 to 2006, where they handled new business development and corporate account management in the enterprise asset management and enterprise project management fields using SAP software.
Walter's earlier experience includes roles as a General / Commercial Interim Manager at Cataraction, an Interim Manager - Consultant for Health Care related companies, and as an ERP / SAP Division Manager at Mi Services Group with P&L responsibility.
Overall, Walter Wijnands has accumulated a wealth of experience in executive leadership, entrepreneurship, consulting, and various managerial roles throughout their career.
Walter Wijnands began their education in 1988 at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht). Walter pursued a degree in Business Economics and completed their studies in 1992. Subsequently, they attended the University of Amsterdam from 1992 to 1994, where they focused on Organizational Behaviour and obtained a degree with a percentage of 95%.
