Tanuj Thapliyal is the CEO of Spot AI. Tanuj was previously a co-founder of Mellow Research and a graduate student at Stanford University. Tanuj has also worked as a hardware program engineer at Meraki, Inc.

Tanuj Thapliyal has always been interested in technology. Tanuj studied computer science and electrical engineering at Stanford University. While they were a student, they co-founded Mellow Research, a company that helps app developers make their code energy efficient. Tanuj and their team also authored a paper and converted their research into a hardware+software product. They launched their product and achieved profitability and cash flow breakeven without outside investment.

After graduating from Stanford, Tanuj Thapliyal worked as a hardware program engineer at Meraki, Inc. for two years. In this role, they were responsible for developing and testing new hardware products. Tanuj then returned to Mellow Research as its CEO. Under their leadership, the company has continued to grow and innovate.
