Chris Petersen has held various roles with four different companies since 2008. Chris began their career at Wells Fargo Bank as a Collector 2 in 2008. In 2010, they joined the San Diego Padres as a Season Ticket Account Specialist, Inside Sales Representative, and Ticket Services Representative. In 2013, they moved to Sysco as a Marketing Associate. In 2014, they joined SpotHero, where they have held the roles of Senior Director, Director of Supply Operations, Director of Supply Management, General Manager - West Coast, Market Manager, and Senior Account Executive. In their role as Senior Account Executive, they are responsible for fostering relationships with great parking partners.

Chris Petersen attended Southern Illinois University from 2004 to 2006. Chris then attended Portland State University from 2007 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. In 2021, they obtained a Senior Sales Leadership Certification from Sales Assembly.
