Jim Werwath

Jim Werwath has over 25 years of experience in the tech industry. Jim began their career in 1993 as a Systems Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Nippon Motorola Ltd. In 2000, they became an Engineer at Novarra. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Nokia. In 2015, they became an Automation Specialist at Verizon Wireless, where they created test automation frameworks using selenium and python, and DevOps automation using ansible, docker, Mesosphere, and AWS. In 2016, they worked as a Site Reliability Engineer and DevOps Engineer at Uptake, and as a DevOps Automation Consultant at Synchronoss Technologies. Since 2019, they have been a Senior System Engineer II at SpotHero.

Jim Werwath obtained a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1989 and 1993. Jim also holds certifications from AWS Elemental, an Amazon Web Services Company (AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, 2017), DataStax (Certified Cassandra Administrator, 2015), CNCF [Cloud Native Computing Foundation] (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), 2020), and Sun Microsystems (Java Developer Certification).
