Carolin Symmons

Carolin Symmons is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in tax strategy and operations. Currently serving as the Tax Strategy and Operations Director at Spotify since September 2015, Carolin leads the Global Tax Strategy function, collaborating with various teams to provide critical tax support for strategic initiatives and new products. Additionally, Carolin holds the position of Global Indirect Tax Director at Spotify. Since February 2017, Carolin has been a member of the OECD Technical Advisory Group on Consumption Taxes. Prior experience includes a role as a Tax Manager at Deloitte Sweden, where responsibilities encompassed tax management consulting, VAT planning, and process improvement. Carolin's foundation in tax law was established with a Master of Laws degree from Lund University.
