Chaka Zulu joined Spotify in 2019 as the Head of Artist and Talent Relations. Zulu founded Disturbing tha Peace with Ludacris in 1995. Now a subsidiary of Def Jam, the label and management company currently counts artists such as Shareefa, I-20 and Field Mob among its client roster.

Previously, Zulu served as the vp entertainment of sports marketing at electronics accessory company Monster, the company formerly behind Beats by Dre headphones, and as an executive producer on the BET docu-series Inside the Label. Recently, he partnered with singer Akon and DJ Fully Focus on the international music festival Passport Experience Festival (PXP Fest).
