Saunak Jai Chakrabarti

Saunak Jai Chakrabarti is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and algorithmic trading. Currently serving as the Senior Director overseeing engineering for the Talk vertical at Spotify, Saunak has previously held roles such as Director of Engineering for Core Infrastructure and Infrastructure and Operations at Spotify, where responsibilities included managing foundational aspects of the backend. Prior positions include Head of Trading Technology at Ergoteles Capital, Director of Algorithmic Trading Technology at Wells Fargo Securities, and various leadership roles at Nomura Securities, Wachovia Securities, and Goldman Sachs, focusing on algorithmic and portfolio trading. Saunak holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Philosophy from North Carolina State University.
