James Jernigan is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in executive chef roles, currently serving as the Area Executive Chef at Spottswood Companies, Inc. since August 2019. Prior to this position, James held the title of Executive Chef at Key West Harbor Yacht Club from July 2019 to May 2022 and at Key West Yacht Club from October 2013 to July 2019. Earlier in the career, James gained valuable experience as Lead Cook at Redbird and as Sous Chef at Alonzo's Oyster Bar. Educational credentials include an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts-Orlando, completed in 2008, along with a high school education from Key West High School.
