Phil Ting

Phil Ting is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in leading development teams and creating innovative web solutions. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at both FullContext and Spot since late 2022, Phil previously held a Senior Software Engineer II position at Compass, where responsibilities included leading squads and acting as a tech lead in React and TypeScript. Prior roles at Oracle involved advancing user experience development as a Senior User Experience Developer, leading teams, and overseeing quarterly release planning, as well as engineering components for major design systems. Phil’s career began at Pathway Genomics, focusing on web application development in PHP and JavaScript. Phil holds a B.S. in Computer Science with a specialization in Bioinformatics from UC San Diego.
