Danielle Filipkowski

Danielle Filipkowski has a diverse work background with experience in various industries. Danielle is currently working as a Program Manager Product Development at SPR Therapeutics, Inc. since June 2023. Previously, they worked as a Senior Quality Manager at VisionAir Solutions from November 2022 to June 2023.

Before that, Danielle was a Quality Manager at Lazurite from October 2015 to November 2022. In this role, they were responsible for creating and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) and implementing strategies for continuous improvement. Danielle also led FDA audits and assisted in gaining ISO 13485 registration.

Danielle worked as an Application Engineer at Nordson Corporation from May 2015 to August 2018. Their main responsibilities included managing projects, coordinating between customers and departments, and solving problems related to implementing new technology.

Prior to that, they were a Research Associate-Biomechanics at Akron General Medical Center from October 2013 to May 2015. In this role, they supported residency programs, conducted biomechanical testing, and performed data analysis.

Danielle also has experience as a BME Applications Engineer and Biomedical Engineer at Great Lakes NeuroTech from July 2012 to October 2013 and May 2010 to July 2012, respectively. Their responsibilities included designing test fixtures, conducting user interface testing, and coordinating clinical study site training.

Danielle started their career as a Senior Research Assistant and Student Ambassador at Illinois Institute of Technology from July 2008 to May 2011, where they conducted protein crystallization experiments and assisted in x-ray crystallography experiments.

Danielle's work experience also includes an IT internship at Washington Group International from June 2007 to August 2007.

Danielle Filipkowski graduated from Cleveland State University with a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biomedical Engineering. Danielle attended the university from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Danielle attended the institute from 2007 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Danielle has obtained several certifications. These include "Managing Self-Doubt to Tackle Bigger Challenges", "Process Improvement Foundations", "Strategic Thinking", "The Six Biases of Decision-Making", "Learning Data Science: Ask Great Questions", "Project Management Foundations: Quality", and "Quality Management Foundations". Danielle obtained these certifications from LinkedIn, with the most recent ones obtained in June and July of 2020.
