Manager of Research & Development at SPR Therapeutics

Meredith McGee, Ph.D., has worked in various research roles throughout their career. From 2006 to 2008, they served as an Applications Lab Intern at NCSRT. In 2008, they became an Undergraduate Research Assistant at NC State University/UNC Chapel Hill. From 2009 to 2015, Meredith worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Duke University, where they conducted pre-clinical animal studies and managed clinical studies related to neural prosthetics research. Since 2015, they have been employed at SPR Therapeutics, Inc., initially as a Research Project Manager and then as a Senior Research Project Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Manager of Research & Development at the company.

Meredith McGee, Ph.D. pursued their higher education in Biomedical Engineering. Meredith obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical Engineering from North Carolina State University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they joined Duke University and completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Biomedical Engineering from 2009 to 2011. Meredith further continued their academic journey at Duke University, where they successfully earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Engineering, graduating in the year 2015.
