Kamiar Kordari, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Kamiar is currently the Chief Innovation Officer at Spren (formerly Elite HRV), where they are responsible for leading innovation and research and development in the field of Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and AI. Prior to this, they served as the VP of AI and R&D at Elite HRV, where they utilized AI and machine learning to analyze HRV data and create commercial applications for improving health, performance, and quality of life.

In addition, Kamiar is an active investor in startups and serves as a Syndicate Lead at AngelList. Kamiar has invested in 41 startups and focuses on supporting innovative ideas. Kamiar also holds the role of Angel Investor, investing in early-stage and high-growth startups.

Before their roles in Spren and AngelList, Kamiar founded and served as the CEO of Corpodex, a company they led from 2017 to 2020. Kamiar Kordari, Ph.D. has a strong educational background in the field of engineering. Kamiar obtained their Ph.D./M.Sc. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 2001 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic between 1999 and 2001. Kamiar began their academic journey at Sharif University of Technology, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from 1995 to 1999. Their exceptional talents were recognized during high school, as they attended the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (Sampad) from 1988 to 1995, focusing on Mathematics and Physics.
