Care Navigator at Spring Health

Anna Wiltgen has a diverse range of work experience in the mental health field. Anna began their career as an Intake and Referral Coordinator at Hickory Trail Hospital in 2010, where they provided psychosocial assessments, completed admissions, and handled pre-certification for inpatient admissions. In 2012, they transitioned to Carrollton Springs as a Care Coordinator, where they conducted integrated assessments, determined appropriate levels of care based on diagnostic criteria, and facilitated patient triage and referrals. Anna then joined Beacon Health Options in 2012, initially as a Clinical Referral Line specialist, conducting telephonic assessments, providing referrals, and connecting members with treatment providers. Anna later took on the role of Outpatient Utilization Management, conducting reviews for medical necessity and ensuring quality care for members. Most recently, in 2022, Anna joined Spring Health as a Care Navigator.

Anna Wiltgen completed their education in a sequential manner. From 2001 to 2005, they attended the University of North Texas where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology. Following this, they pursued further education at Texas Woman's University from 2007 to 2009, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Counseling and Development. Anna Wiltgen also possesses additional credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor, which they obtained from The Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) in March 2010.
