Nadia Sookar

Nadia Sookar has extensive experience in the field of mental health therapy and counseling. Nadia is currently employed as a Mental Health Therapist at Spring Health and UpLift, starting in April 2022. Previously, they worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Teladoc Health from May 2020. Prior to that, Nadia worked as a Mental Health Therapist at Maven Clinic starting in January 2019. Before entering the mental health field, Nadia held positions as a Certified Benefits Counselor at Full Circle Employment Solutions LLC starting in January 2019. Nadia also worked as a Social Worker/Clinical Case Manager at Unity Healthcare -Upper Cardozo Clinic from May 2015 to December 2018, where they provided bilingual care management and behavioral health interventions. In August 2014, they earned an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Messiah University. Nadia also became a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor through the CRCC (Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification) in October 2019.

Nadia pursued further certifications, including becoming a Work Incentive Practitioner from Cornell University in July 2019, a Telemental Health Provider through the Center For Credentialing & Education in November 2018, and a Community Partner Work Incentive Counselor from Virginia Commonwealth University in October 2021.
