Nelly Djomdi

Nelly Djomdi has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Nelly began their career as an Assistant Front Office Coordinator I at Sante Group Companies, where they scheduled patient appointments, maintained medical records, and handled administrative tasks. Nelly also had an internship at the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities during this time.

Nelly then worked as a Patient Registrar II at Adventist HealthCare, where they supported hospital registration and ensured accurate financial and insurance information.

Nelly later joined Progressive Radiology as a Patient Service Representative, where they greeted and verified patient information. At MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, Nelly served as a Patient Financial Associate, performing various tasks including verifying appointments and insurance, collecting payments, and providing customer service.

Nelly also gained experience as a Patient Services Specialist at Howard University Hospital, where they scheduled appointments, performed check-in/check-out procedures, and acted as a liaison for referring physicians.

Their most recent role was with RadNet as a Patient Service Representative. Here, Nelly greeted and registered patients, obtained insurance and patient information, and ensured the completion of necessary documentation.

Currently, they are working at Spring Health as a Members (Health) Benefits Coordinator, responsible for insurance verification, proactive outreach to members regarding costs and benefits, and assisting patients with reimbursement processes.

Throughout their work experience, Nelly has demonstrated proficiency in administrative tasks, patient registration, insurance verification, and providing excellent customer service in healthcare settings.

Nelly Djomdi earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with Honors Cume Laude in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Baltimore, where they attended from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Montgomery College, where they studied from 2014 to 2016. Currently, Nelly is pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management Information Systems and Services at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, which they plan to complete between 2021 and 2023. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the "Get started with Jira" certification from Coursera in September 2022, the "Jira Fundamentals Badge" from Atlassian in September 2022, and a Notary Public Commission from the State of Maryland in August 2021.
