Yvette Lau

Yvette Lau is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as a Secondary School Counsellor at German Swiss International School since March 2024 and as an EAP Counsellor at Spring Health since July 2023. With a strong focus on evidence-based social-emotional learning, Yvette empowers students to develop resilience and healthy relationships. Previous roles include Assistant Manager (Student Counsellor) at Republic Polytechnic, where collaboration and crisis intervention were key responsibilities, and Counsellor in Residence at Savannah College of Art and Design, addressing diverse student needs. Yvette has extensive internship experience, providing support to various demographics, and began career development as an Educator at Island Christian Academy. Yvette holds a Master's degree in Counselling from Monash University and two other degrees in Education and Business Information Technology.
