Michelle Gurrola-Gal

Michelle Gurrola-Gal is an experienced professional currently serving as a Business Process Manager in the Office of Commercialization & Industry Engagement at Dalhousie University since January 2020. In this role, Michelle assesses business processes for optimization, fosters collaborations between private sector industries and university research, and manages several programs including the National Research Council’s Industrial Research Assistance Program. Michelle's previous experience includes project management for the Canadian Center for Vaccinology, industry liaison at Dalhousie, and laboratory management at IWK Health Centre, demonstrating expertise in clinical trials, tech-transfer initiatives, and research project management. Michelle holds a Master’s Degree in Biology from Villanova University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from Quinnipiac University.
