Shawna Lyons

Shawna Lyons is an experienced educator and administrator currently serving as Grants Coordinator and Principal at Springdale Public Schools since 2012. At the Archer Learning Center, Shawna leads a tier III program for high school students facing significant behavioral challenges. Previously, Shawna was Principal of Sonora Middle School, where the institution was honored as a School of Innovation in 2015. In addition to ongoing contributions at Springdale Public Schools, Shawna holds a position as Affiliate Faculty at Regis University, instructing various courses and collaborating on teacher development initiatives. Previous experience includes serving as Principal at Boston PreK-8, a partnership school where the majority of students qualified for financial assistance and second language support. Shawna holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Development from the University of Arkansas, a degree in Elementary Education from Arkansas State University, a Master of Education from the University of Phoenix, and a Doctor of Education from Nova Southeastern University.
