Fabian Kaufmann

Fabian Kaufmann has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in sales, marketing, and management roles. Fabian is currently serving as the Managing Director at Springer Healthcare since January 2021. Prior to this, they held the same position at Springer Medizin Verlag GmbH | Springer Nature from May 2018. Fabian was previously the Managing Director Sales/Marketing at Springer Nature | Springer Medizin from April 2013 to April 2018. Before that, they served as the Regional Sales Director/GM Central and Eastern Europe at Springer Healthcare Ltd from April 2012 to March 2013. Fabian also worked as the General Manager Germany, France, and Poland at Wolters Kluwer Health / Pharma Solutions from April 2007 to April 2012. Before that, they held various roles at Thomson Corporation Switzerland AG, including Key Account Manager, Manager Northern Europe Business Development, Senior Sales Manager Germany/Switzerland/Austria, and Senior Account Manager, between September 2002 and April 2007. Prior to that, they worked as a Sales Manager (Account Management) at The Dialog Corporation GmbH from December 2001 to August 2002 and as a Senior Account Manager at The Dialog Corporation from April 1998 to November 2001. Fabian started their career as an Account Executive at M.A.I.D. / The Dialog Corporation from April 1997 to March 1998.

Fabian Kaufmann attended the University of Westminster from 1992 to 1996, where they completed a BA (hons) in International Business. In 1994 to 1995, they also attended Université de Paris Dauphine, focusing on Commerce International. Prior to their university studies, Fabian completed their A-Levels (Abitur) from 1981 to 1990 at Otto-Hahn-Gymnasium Tuttlingen.
