David Wang is a Senior Lecturer at The University of Sydney, where they have been since March 2017, focusing on the development of novel hybrid and inorganic membranes for industrial gas and liquid separation. Previously, David was an ARC-DECRA Fellow, researching rapid thermal processing for gas separation membranes and collaborating with leading experts in membrane science. They have also served as a Board Director for the Membrane Society of Australasia and held various roles within the field of radiation therapy early in their career. David earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering from The University of Queensland, along with other degrees in biotechnology and medical radiation technology.
