Paulo Cunha has extensive work experience in the field of user experience and design. Paulo began their career at Cambridge Assessment, where they worked as an Information Architect and later transitioned into the role of User Experience Architect. Paulo then moved on to work as a User Experience Architect at AlphaSights, where they were involved in all aspects of User-Centered Design.
Following that, Paulo worked as a Senior User Experience Analyst at Isotrak, where they operated in a fast-paced agile environment and was responsible for providing direction and facilitating collaboration to achieve innovative User Experience solutions. Paulo also worked as a Senior User Experience Analyst at Global Dawn, collaborating closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and user requirements.
Paulo then joined Capita Children's Services as a User Experience Lead, where they introduced User Experience to the organization and ensured the application of a user-centered approach throughout the product development lifecycle. Paulo continued their career as a Lead User Experience Designer at Expedia Group, where they worked within the Hotels.com team.
Paulo later joined Springer Science+Business Media, where they served as the Head of User Experience and successfully grew the User Experience and Design Team. Paulo then joined Markel International as the Head of Experience Design, before returning to Springer Nature Group as the Deputy Head of UX, Global Head of UX (interim), and ultimately as the Head of Product Strategy.
Throughout their various roles, Paulo has been involved in driving organizational transformation, creating customer and product strategies, conducting user research, and leading teams. Paulo'sexperience spans multiple industries, including publishing, outsourcing, and travel.
Paulo Cunha pursued their education starting in 1989, when they attended Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto. Paulo completed their MEng degree in Chemical Engineering in 1994. Following this, Paulo furthered their education at the University of Cambridge, where they obtained an MSc degree in Chemical Engineering from 1994 to 1997.
