Cyril Mauffrey M.D.

Cyril Mauffrey MD, FRCS, FACS is a prominent orthopedic surgeon with extensive experience in trauma and orthopedic surgery. Currently serving as the Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Denver Health and a Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Colorado, Cyril Mauffrey also founded The Ortho Academy, a platform aimed at enhancing surgical performance for orthopedic surgeons globally. As Editor in Chief of the European Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology, Cyril Mauffrey oversees a widely accessed peer-reviewed journal. Additionally, Cyril Mauffrey holds board certification in orthopedics in both the USA and UK and contributes to the AO Foundation's peer review panel. Educational credentials include an orthopedic trauma fellowship from the University of Louisville and various fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
