Alyssa D Ortega (she/her)

Alyssa D Ortega has accumulated a diverse range of experience in both healthcare and retail environments. Currently serving as a Repair Coordinator at Springer's Jewelers since April 2021, Alyssa previously worked as a Retail Associate at Gus & Ruby Letterpress from November 2019 to April 2021. Prior to these roles, Alyssa spent over seven years at UI Health — University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System as a Medical Technologist. Alyssa's earlier experiences include roles as a Lifeguard at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Elk Grove Park District, as well as serving as a Summer Research Fellow and a Research Intern in the School of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Alyssa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed in 2012.
