Matthew Kohl is an experienced educator and administrator with a comprehensive background in social emotional learning, mental health therapy, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Coordinator of Social Emotional Learning and Head Men's Soccer Coach at Springfield City School District since February 2014, Matthew has also held roles such as Assistant Principal at Hayward Middle School and Dean of Students at Springfield High School. Matthew's previous experience includes directing programs at the Clark County Juvenile Court, teaching psychology courses at Clark State Community College, and providing mental health therapy at the Rocking Horse Center. Matthew holds multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Dayton and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Counselor Education.
