Joshua Merson

Joshua Merson, DMSc, MS-HPEd, PA-C, CAQ-EM, NHDP-BC, serves as the Department Chair and Program Director at MGH Institute of Health Professions, with roles including Distinguished Teaching Assistant Professor and Founding core faculty member of the MPAS program. Merson’s clinical experience includes positions as a Physician Assistant at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program, emergency departments at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospital, along with supervisory roles in disaster medicine. Merson holds leadership positions at the Massachusetts Association of PAs, including Director at Large and Past President.
