SLT Academy Program Coordinator at Springfield Little Theatre

Jessica is thrilled to be back on the full-time education staff at Springfield Little Theatre serving as the SLT Academy Program Coordinator and lead teacher for the program. She has a passion for working with young artists and guiding them to be their true selves on stage. As an actor she was last seen on stage as Charlotte Hay in Tent Theatre’s 2022 production of Moon Over Buffalo. Other stage credits: Mollie Ralston in The Mousetrap (Tent Theatre), Alice Sycamore in You Can’t Take it With You (Tent Theatre), Stella in A Streetcar Named Desire, Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Lt. Joanne Galloway in A Few Good Men (Springfield Little Theatre), and Helen McCormick in Cripple of Inishmaan (Springfield Contemporary Theatre). Regional credits include work with NYC Fringe Festival, St. Louis Wisewrite Festival, The Storm Theatre, and Dalliance Theater. SLT directing credits include My Son Pinocchio Jr., Huck Finn, and A Christmas Story. She is directing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang during SLT’s current 2022-2023 mainstage season. As a teaching artist she has worked with Springfield Little Theatre, MSU, and area school districts. Jessica has a BFA in Acting from Webster University’s Conservatory of Theatre Arts and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching at Missouri State.
