John R. Chuck Rogers

Chuck is the resident Scenic Designer at the historic Landers Theatre. He has worked with design aspects for Drury University, Springfield Ballet, Springfield Regional Opera and Tent Theatre. Chuck has designed for television, Branson venues and worked as Production Manager for Theatre Baton Rouge in Louisiana. Currently, Chuck directs at least one production a year in the Landers mainstage season and teaches with the SLT Education program. He was awarded the 2019 Individual Artist Ozzie Award, a 40 year career high for area theatrical contributions. Chuck’s first love will always be the SLT family of staff, volunteers and young people.
