Anthony Sands

Anthony Sands has extensive experience in financial management within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Assistant Chief Financial Officer (ACFO) at Springs Memorial Hospital since January 2016, Sands previously held the same position at Carolinas Hospital System from May 2015 to January 2016. Prior to these roles, Sands worked as a Controller in various capacities at Tenet Healthcare and managed accounting functions at Piedmont Medical Center. Early career experience includes roles as an Assistant Senior Auditor at Palmetto GBA and a Credit Manager at Wells Fargo. Sands holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from The Citadel, completed in 1997.
