Corey Kilbane

Corey Kilbane is an experienced educator and small business owner with a strong background in chemistry and STEM education. Currently serving as an Engineering Teacher at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy since July 2023, Corey has previously taught chemistry at William Penn Charter School for over a decade, where leadership in instructional technology was demonstrated. Engagements with the Smithsonian Institution as an Educational Partner involved developing educational resources and curriculum for various museums. Additional roles include an Education Technology Specialist at Goddard School District and teaching positions at St. John's College High School and Washington University in St. Louis. Corey also runs Padouk Crafts, a small business focused on handcrafted goods. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry from Washington University in St. Louis.
