William F. Dunbar, Sr. is the Founder and Managing Partner of Dunbar Public Affairs & Associates, a bipartisan public affairs and strategic communications firm established in December 2012. In addition to this role, William serves as a Board Member for Opera Philadelphia and Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, as well as a Trustee at Lincoln University. Notable past positions include Co-Chair of the Shapiro for Pennsylvania Inaugural Committee, Democratic Nominee for State Representative in the 177th Legislative District, and Deputy Chief of Staff/Special Assistant in the US Congress from January 2005 to January 2007. William holds a Masters of Government Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and a degree in Political Science & Criminal Justice from Lincoln University.
