Sharon McKeown

Sharon McKeown has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sharon has worked as a Global Pharmacovigilance Operations Lead at SpringWorks Therapeutics since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Manager-Literature Management & Coding for Gilead from 2021 to 2023, and as a Safety Narrative Writer-Project Management for Gilead in 2022. Before their time at Gilead, Sharon was a Senior Drug Safety Specialist at J&J from 2020 to 2021, where they managed imports of global literature and ensured accurate drug dictionary assignments. Sharon also worked as a Senior Scientist Dictionary Coding and Analytics, and as a Licensed Healthcare Communicator at Ashfield. Sharon has experience in school nursing, having worked as a Twin Spring Farm school RN and as a Substitute School Nurse in various school districts. Additionally, they have worked in employee health and community health and wellness nursing roles.

Sharon McKeown obtained a Diploma degree in Nursing with a focus on Nursing Education from Millersville University of Pennsylvania from 1988 to 1991. Additionally, they also obtained a Diploma in Nursing as a Registered Nurse from the Pennsylvania School of Health Sciences during the same time period. Sharon has received additional certifications such as Breath Alcohol Training & Certification, Urine Drug Screen Certification, and American Heart CPR for Healthcare providers in 2016 and 2017.
