Ed Gillis

Ed Gillis has worked as a business consultant and private investor for over 10 years. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Government from Clark University, a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

In 2009-2010, he was an Executive Adviser at Skype, where he was engaged by Silver Lake Partners in connection with that firm’s acquisition of that company. Previously, Ed was interim Chief Financial Officer of Avaya Inc. He also served as Senior Vice President of Administration and Integration at Symantec Corporation and he has held Chief Financial Officer positions at Veritas Software Corporation, Parametric Technology Corporation, and Lotus Development Corporation.
