Marc Porfidio has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Marc started their career as a Product Engineer at Sims Deltec in 1992, where they were responsible for designing and developing vascular access systems. Marc then worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Kovex Corporation from 1996 to 1997.
In 1998, Marc joined SolidWorks as a Regional Technical Manager, where they were responsible for conducting technical demonstrations of solutions and working with Sales Managers and Value Add Resellers to close business. Marc later transitioned to the role of Regional Sales Manager / Major Accounts, where they had direct responsibility for territory reseller sales and strategic accounts sales.
From 2000 to 2004, Marc worked at Epicor, initially as a Territory Manager responsible for direct sales of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solutions. Marc then served as the Director of Strategic Accounts, managing elite global and national accounts and leading the sales process with a cross-functional team. In 2009, they became the Senior Director of Managed Services and Outsourcing, where they structured and organized a new venture to sell outsourcing services. Later, they were promoted to the role of Vice President of Professional Services, with P&L responsibility for the Services Organization.
From 2012 to 2014, Marc worked as the Vice President of Sales at KeyedIn Solutions, Inc., where they were charged with bringing an existing product acquisition to the US market. Marc created a strategy and plan to drive sales across the US and oversaw competitive intelligence efforts.
In 2014, Marc joined Ektron (now EPiServer) as the Senior Director of North American Account Management. Marc was specifically hired to develop and enforce sales processes that could be tracked and measured, and ensured client demographics could be analyzed to provide actionable insights for the Account Management team.
From 2015 to 2016, Marc worked at Digineer as Insightful Strategy - Results Delivered. In 2016, they joined IDeaS Revenue Solutions as the Director of Global Account Management, where they managed and grew a remote global team and was responsible for significant annual annuity and new revenue. Marc also worked with cross-functional teams on Go To Market strategies and client-specific initiatives.
Marc's most recent work experience is as a member of the Strategic Accounts team at Salesforce. From 2018 to 2022, they served as the Strategic Accounts, Healthcare, and Life Sciences for the company.
In 2022, Marc joined Sprinklr as the Global Strategic Client Director, where they currently hold the position.
Marc Porfidio holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
