En gammel problemstilling I årevis er ERP-systemer blevet konfigureret fra bunden, så de matcher den enkelte virksomheds behov. Det lyder jo umiddelbart meget fornuftigt, men er det nu også klogt..? Bliver systemerne ikke blot svære at holde up-to-date, og virksomhederne afhængige af eksterne konsulenter? Hvis man vælger et online system som Uniconta eller Dinero, kan man komme i gang på få minutter. Hvorfor kræver det så et omfattende IT-projekt, når man kører Microsoft Dynamics 365? Mange traditionelle ERP-projekter har en tendens til at blive omfattende og tidskrævende. Ofte er de tilmed blevet forsinket, dyrere end forventet og er endt med, at nogle har mistet deres job. Det er jo helt sort. Erfaringen viser, at en organisation mister pusten af projekter, der tager både halve og hele år at gennemføre. Og på grund af den lange projektperiode er systemerne som oftest blevet en smule forældet allerede ved lanceringen. Man bliver fastlåst i gamle systemer og platforme. Hvem har lyst til at søsætte nye opgraderingsprojekter med ukendt tidsramme og resultat? Et nyt perspektiv og en anden tilgang Det er åbenlyst, at din virksomhed er både unik og speciel. Men det betyder ikke, at der skal unikke eller specielle systemer til for at drive den. Du skal faktisk helst anvende de samme systemer og konfigurationer som andre virksomheder. Det skal være standardteknologi, som er konfigureret én-gang-for-alle i henhold til en ‘best practice standard’ for din branche. Således er et ultrakort implementeringsforløb (et sprint) alt hvad du behøver. Det giver mening, både logisk og økonomisk. At standardisere og genbruge skabeloner, det er vejen frem.
