Lakshmi Suresh

Lakshmi Suresh has worked in the software engineering industry since 2016. Lakshmi began their career at UST as an Associate Software Developer. In 2020, they joined Cerner Corporation as a Software Engineer I, where they implemented architectural changes in the pipeline to handle transient HTTP failures and increased the resiliency by modifying the service calls to use hi-okhttp. Lakshmi also reduced the efforts required by consultants by developing a wrapper script in python that automates the process of generating c-stats reports, querying hive, and uploading the results into the HDFS/S3 user directory. In addition, they played a vital role in the development of the Risk Indicators JS component using Orion framework (ReactJS) and enhanced the ops job script by the implementation of pagination by restructuring the existing logic using CCL. Lakshmi was later promoted to Software Engineer II, where they handled operational and production support which includes fixing operational failures, production deployments, monitoring product health, and resolving client issues. Currently, they are working as a Full Stack Engineer at Sprinto.

Lakshmi Suresh has a Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) degree from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, which they obtained between 2013 and 2016. Lakshmi also has a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from the same institution, which they obtained between 2018 and 2020.
