Poom Narongdej

Poom Narongdej currently serves as Senior R&D Process Engineer at SprintRay Inc. since August 2022 and as a Lecturer at California State University Long Beach's College of Engineering since August 2024, also holding the role of Teaching Associate. Poom has extensive experience in research and development, particularly in advanced composites and nano-materials, through previous positions as Graduate Research Assistant at UCLA and CSULB, Research Assistant at CSULB Research Foundation, and Project Engineer at WEBCOR Builders. Poom has a strong educational background with a PhD in Engineering and Computational Mathematics from Claremont Graduate University, alongside two master's degrees in Materials Science and Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from UCLA and CSULB, respectively, and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from CSULB. Poom has contributed to various projects focused on composite materials and served as a Faculty Mentor for an NSF-funded educational program.
