Eve Acton

Eve Acton has over a decade of experience in the field of quality assurance and test engineering. Eve started their career in 2012 as a QA Tester at Eurocom, where they worked on projects like Harry Potter for Kinect and Bond 007: Legends. Eve then joined Rockstar North as a QA Tester, contributing to the testing of Grand Theft Auto V.

In 2014, Eve took on the role of QA Test Analyst at TCS John Huxley, where they conducted testing of backend software and physical hardware used in casinos worldwide. Eve also collaborated with developers and clients to ensure smooth product creation.

Eve then joined NaturalMotion in 2014 as a Compliance QA Tester, where they were responsible for core functionality tests for projects like CSR Racing and Clumsy Ninja. Eve established a Compliance QA department and developed processes to ensure app updates and releases complied with review processes on Apple and Google portals.

At UNIT9, Eve served as a QA Lead, leading a team of testers and working on various projects. Eve later joined Media.Monks as the Global QA Manager and played a key role in expanding the QA team from 3 testers to over 100 globally. Eve also served as the Global Director of QA, overseeing the creation and optimization of various QA processes.

In 2022, Eve joined Lab Digital as the Head of QA, where they established robust internal QA processes and recruited a team of quality experts.

Currently, Eve is the Head of Test Engineering at spriteCloud, where they continue to lead and manage test engineering efforts.

Eve Acton's education history includes a Certificate of Higher Education from the University of Derby, obtained from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they pursued a BTEC National Diploma in Media Studies at Solihull College from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Emergency Response Officer from BHV.NL in October 2023, and Reanimatie- & AED-training from ERC European Resuscitation Council in September 2019. Eve has also obtained certifications in subjects such as Scrum Master, Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues, How to Be Both Assertive and Likable, Software Testing Foundations: Bug Writing and Management, and Unconscious Bias, through LinkedIn.
