Nick Berrie

Nick Berrie is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in penetration testing, offensive security operations, and security research. Currently serving as a Senior Penetration Tester at Sprocket Security since October 2025, Nick has previously held key roles such as Senior Penetration Tester and Director of Offensive Security Operations at Assura, Inc., where engagement planning and critical vulnerability discovery were primary responsibilities. Nick's background includes conducting advanced penetration tests for global clients at Cobalt and performing targeted vulnerability research as a member of the Synack Red Team. Additionally, Nick has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor of Cybersecurity at Norwich University, designing curricula for ethics and vulnerability assessments. A holder of multiple registered CVEs and an advanced degree in Information Assurance from Norwich University, Nick Berrie's expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of cybersecurity challenges, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree from Liberty University.
