Malin Göransson, Ph.D., has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Scientist and later as a PhD Student at the Department of Design Sciences at Lund University. During this time, they conducted interdisciplinary research in sustainable food supply chain innovation. In 2019, they completed their doctorate and moved on to work as a Doctoral Ph.D. at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, LTH.

In 2020, Malin took on multiple roles at Lund University, including Research Coordinator at EIT Food and the LU Food Faculty, and Project Manager at Climate-KIC, Nordic Regional Hub (NRH). As Research Coordinator, they focused on making the food system more sustainable, healthy, and trusted. Malin coordinated Nordic innovation and research projects in bio-economy and sustainable development. In their role as Project Manager, they led workshops and networking events, produced decision material and annual reports.

Since 2021, Malin has been working at Sproud, where they initially served as a Quality Manager before becoming the Quality & Sustainability Manager. In their current role, they oversee quality and sustainability aspects for the company, ensuring adherence to high standards.

Throughout their career, Malin has also contributed to academia as a Lecturer at Packaging Logistics, Design Sciences at Lund University. Malin taught courses related to packaging technology, supply chain management, and sustainable development. Additionally, they supervised bachelor's and master's level degree projects in various areas of expertise, including food technology, logistics, and circular economy.
