Richard Orsini

Richard Orsini is an experienced industrial designer with a robust background in design, engineering, and education. Currently serving as the Director of Industrial Design at Sprout Studios since November 2017, Richard has also held roles as Principal Industrial & Mechanical Designer and Senior Industrial Designer. Prior experience includes an industrial designer position at Carroll Design, where Richard developed concepts using sketching and SolidWorks. Richard has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, teaching CAD and SOLIDWORKS modeling. Previous roles include design internships and consultancy that involved prototype development and collaboration with manufacturers. Richard holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial and Product Design from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, attained in 2012.
