Helio Padrao

Helio Padrao has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Helio started their career as a Mobile Software Engineer at Gimon Telecomunicações, where they developed Android and JME systems for various companies. Then, they worked as an Android Game Developer at Vostu, contributing to the creation of popular games. Helio continued their mobile software engineering career at payleven Global Mobile Payments, PagueMob, and TransferWise, where they played a crucial role in the development and success of mobile applications. Helio was responsible for planning, modeling, developing, and architecting Android apps, utilizing various technologies such as cryptography and data caching. At TransferWise, they also transitioned to the acquisition team, focusing on optimizing user funnel and improving metrics. Later, they joined Nubank Brasil as the Head of Mobile and Early Employee, leading mobile development efforts. Helio then became a Seed Investor at a global long-term investments and strategic advice company. Currently, Helio is working as the Head of Mobile at SproutFi (YC 21) and as a Partner at Klivo, a company that received series A funding.

Helio Padrao received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. Helio then pursued a Post Graduate degree in Software Engineering from FIAP, from 2011 to 2012.
