Gisela Goncalves has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software engineering and database development. Gisela started their career as an intern software engineer at Movilnet in 1997 and then moved on to work as an intern software engineer at IBM in 1998. At IBM, they designed and developed the Emergency Parts Request System for the Andean Region.

Gisela then worked at Manapro Consultores from 1999 to 2001, where they focused on the development and migration of the company's intranet and the analysis, design, and development of web applications.

In 2001, Gisela joined Smart-matic as a senior software core developer, working on the development of the NEA platform, specifically the database module and integration with the rest of the platform.

From 2003 to 2011, they worked at TX Panama (Grupo TX) in various roles, including IT manager and software architect. Their responsibilities included the design, development, and maintenance of tax census systems, customer relationship management systems, and integration projects with national banks.

Gisela worked as a software engineer consultant independently from 2012 to 2014, focusing on software solutions, database design, and social media campaign management.

Since 2014, Gisela has been working at SproutLoud Media Networks as a senior database developer and team lead. Their role includes managing a team of developers and supporting the company's main application and systems.

Throughout their career, Gisela has demonstrated expertise in database development, software engineering, system design, and project management, following AGILE methodology.

Gisela Goncalves completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at Universidad Simón Bolívar from 1994 to 1999. Their field of study during this time was Computer Science.
