Andrea Gómez

Andrea G. is currently a PhD student at Università degli Studi di Trieste, focusing on research related to Paleogene Mass-Transport Deposits and their potential tsunamigenic mechanisms. Prior to this role, Andrea held the position of researcher at Università degli Studi di Trieste, working on geological surveys for the CARG ISPRA project. From 2010 to 2020, Andrea operated as the owner of F.G. Intatto snc, a company specializing in the representation of children's clothing, while also providing assistance in sales, administration, and digital media. Previous experience includes geologist at Geoside Geofisica snc, responsible for geophysical and topographic surveys, and as project activity manager at GEOSEC ITALIA. Research internships were completed at the Helmholtz-Centre Potsdam and the Icelandic Institute of Natural History, where important fieldwork and data analysis were conducted. Andrea holds a Master's Degree in Geology from Università degli Studi di Padova, earned between 2014 and 2017.
