Dan Spiegelman

Dan Spiegelman has over 25 years of experience in the biotech industry, serving in various financial leadership roles. Dan is currently the Director at Spruce Biosciences, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to that, they were the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at BioMarin from 2012 to 2020. During their time at BioMarin, they were responsible for finance, tax, accounting, investor relations, and MIS. Dan oversaw growth from 3 approved products and 1,000 employees to 7 approved products, 3,000 employees, and approximately $2.0 billion in revenues.

Prior to BioMarin, Spiegelman served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at CV Therapeutics from 1998 to 2009. Dan was also Treasurer at Genentech from 1991 to 1998. In 2009, they became an independent biotech finance professional and served on various boards. Dan joined Spruce Biosciences in 2020 as Director.

Dan Spiegelman attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business and received their BA in Economics.
