Elissa Maercklein

Elissa Maercklein has held a variety of roles in the tech and finance industries. In 2013, they began their career as a Financial Advising Intern at AXA Advisors. Elissa then held two internships at Visa in 2014 and 2015 as a CyberSource Sales Intern. In 2016, they were promoted to CyberSource Sales at Visa. In 2021, Elissa joined On Deck as a Founders Fellowship and Crypto Chicks as Chief Executive Officer, which they acquired in November 2022. Elissa then joined Craft.co in 2017 as Head of Operations, where they led non-engineering functions and built processes and systems to scale the company. Finally, in 2022 Elissa became Head of Marketing at Spruce Systems, Inc., a decentralized identity startup.

Elissa Maercklein earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business and Statistics (Double Major) from Carnegie Mellon University between 2012 and 2016.
