Rui Marinho

Rui Marinho has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Rui started their career in 2005 as a Freelance Designer, specializing in 3D product design and various graphic design tasks. In 2009, they worked as a Web UI Designer at iTWorks-Studio, Ltd. Rui then moved on to Gráfica do Vouga, where they served as a Leading Designer, managing the graphic department and working on communication materials, corporate images, and editorial design.

In 2010, Rui Marinho established Creativelab Branding Studio, where they served as the Owner and Project Leader. Rui also worked as a Brand Design Consultant. In 2011, they joined Pecol SA as a Designer, focusing on design tasks until 2014.

From 2014 onwards, Rui Marinho took on various leadership roles. As the CEO and Founder of Ocupa Cowork Aveiro, they managed a new coworking space, providing tailored services for different companies while overseeing branding-related tasks. Rui then became the CTO and Project Team Leader at Slickview Studios, responsible for leading and developing full-stack projects.

In 2015, Rui Marinho co-founded Sprwt and served as the CTO. Rui also worked at The Baby Sitter as the CCO and Full Stack Developer for a brief period in 2015. In 2016, they joined Get Virtual as the CCO and VR UI/UX Designer, taking a leading role in designing virtual reality experiences. Rui'stenure at Get Virtual lasted until May 2021.

Throughout their career, Rui Marinho has demonstrated their versatility and expertise in design, project leadership, and branding.

Rui Marinho's education history includes attending Creative Station Lx where they studied Design, Print & web until 2009. Rui then continued their education at FLAG, where they pursued a degree in Full-Stack Web Development starting from 2010.
